About Emily
Emily Rybolt holds a BS in Health Promotion from Southeast Missouri State University. Born and raised in the Midwest, she spent a lot of time outside, but it was when her daughter was a toddler that she prioritized the outdoors. She became a director for Free Forest School (a nation-wide grassroots operation with a mission to get more families outside). Over the last 7 years she’s been involved with many outdoor endeavors to promote children spending time outdoors. Emily is a huge proponent of getting out in all seasons and all weather and supporting children in exploring on their own terms and in their own ways. She believes that spending time in nature is not just within the wilderness of a forest, but right here in the city! Urban nature is all around us. She is an avid hiker, climber and camper!
